Good Morning Coaches!!!

I’m figuring that you are all very excited and ready to begin the 2020 softball season for our UIL schools!! I’m sure our TAPPS, SPC, TAIAO, Home School coaches are also excited as well as they have started already.

May your pitchers throw strikes!

May your hitters get lots of hits!

May your defense have no errors!

May your decisions be perfect every time!

Now that the Gulf Coast Clinic is finished for 2020 and I’ve finished traveling to LSU football playoff games, I’m back in softball mode and ready to help everyone out when necessary.

I will be working on adding schedules and tournament brackets to the Texas Prep Softball website all week. If you haven’t sent yours to me, please do so this week. I will start going to each school’s website next week and start pulling schedules from there and I much rather have your actual printed schedule than some generic website like RankOne, VTD, etc. I just like the individual flair that each schedule has. If you can send it in PDF form, that would be great, but if not, that’s ok too – it doesn’t take long to convert.

Once I get the schedules, I will post them to this link:

Once I get the tournament brackets, I will post them here:

If you want your coaching record included on the website (and this is where Butch Hart gets the list for the TGCA polls, please send me your record and I’ll input them in the database. Many of you need to update yours as well and send them to me. Please sent me the total record, even on updates! I’m not a math major and if you send me the 2019 season record and ask me to add to the current list, I may not get it right and I don’t want incorrect information on the page. Everyone who has ever sent me their record is listed on that page.

Here are the links --- remember only I can edit these pages.

List of total wins in order.

List of total wins by winning percentage…

Master List of everyone who has ever reported to me.

Please pray for the La Grange HS softball and volleyball teams on the passing of one of their athletes this week, sophomore Kyla Drozd. I know the community is really shocked and saddened on her passing.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. O Lord, your sorrowing Mother stood by your cross; help us in our sorrows to share your sufferings.
